That moment in time, when life suddenly changed for the better and the real money started rolling in. As soon as I invested in distressed properties, I started taking home a whole year’s salary from the closing table, from just one deal alone. This was not by accident. Things really happen this way in this business and I can tell you; when those big checks hit my hands, it is such an awesome feeling. It is called financial freedom when you can live the dream and get paid for what you are worth. Most of all, you do what you want on any given day.

 

During the early stages of my life as an investor, I learned the do’s and the don’ts, the tricks of the trade, the in’s and out’s and the lingo that investors use in the business and so much more. I quickly learned how to leverage my money. I would buy low, rehab, and then resell for top dollar. With me being an investor and an agent, I had the best of both worlds, but it came with a high cost. There were a lot of mistakes along the way, bad business relationships with partners or contractors, and a lot of money woes that brought on stress, tears, and frustrations amongst other things, but I made it through.

 

Those where my humble beginnings and therefore, I inspire to teach others this business, so people will not suffer from the many bumps in the road and the scars I had to endure. Many times, I had to put in a lot of hard work but my determination of not quitting; kept me winning. I rose from the wreckage and started doing things a lot differently these days. Now, I focus all my attention on helping others. There are not too many hurdles I have not jumped over and could not figure out. Now everything is easy for me.

 

Moreover, when I wear my investor hat, I help many sellers by buying or selling their distressed homes for a quick sell, to stop them from losing their home through foreclosure or other distressed situations. When I established my 2 real estate businesses, I trained my agents to be competitive but honest, and extraordinary in everything they do, and this is how you should think too moving forward.
